In a final act of blatant disregard for justice, outgoing President Joe Biden issued a preemptive pardon to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, shielding him from any future prosecution related to his mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fauci, who has been widely criticized for his inconsistent guidance, misleading statements, coverup, and involvement in controversial research funding, now escapes accountability thanks to Biden's unprecedented use of executive clemency.

"For more than half a century, Dr. Fauci served our country. He saved countless lives by managing the government's response to pressing health crises, including HIV/AIDS, as well as the Ebola and Zika viruses. During his tenure as my Chief Medical Advisor, he helped the country tackle a once-in-a-century pandemic. The United States is safer and healthier because of him," Biden wrote.

Recall that in the 1980s, during the height of the AIDS epidemic, Dr. Fauci told Americans that children could catch AIDS from casual contact.

Fauci also withheld successful treatments from AIDS patients for over a year as THOUSANDS died. He wanted a vaccine—that never came.

Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), has finally broken his silence following the controversial decision.

Fauci spoke with CNN's Dana Bash during the network's coverage of President Donald Trump's inauguration.

Bash said that while Fauci is ' very appreciative' of the pardon, he once again insisted he did not commit any crimes while overseeing the United States' response to the COVID pandemic.

The Supreme Court has ruled that accepting a pardon implies an acknowledgment of guilt.
