Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán calls for right-wingers to ‘Occupy Brussels’.

The historic second presidential term of Donald J. Trump is sending geopolitical seismic waves all over the world. In many countries, right-wing political forces that espouse a ‘common-sense’ approach to policy-making may benefit from this altogether new political landscape.

In Europe that is expected to be the case, since the last year already saw the pendulum shift tremendously to the right side of the political spectrum in most countries.

The Trump era in the US will ‘trigger a new right-wing surge in Europe’, according to conservative champion, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

Orbán launched yesterday what he called ‘an offensive to occupy Brussels’.

Reuters reported:

“The nationalist premier, a long-time Trump supporter, envisages a ‘golden era’ for relations between the U.S. and EU member state Hungary under Trump’s presidency, despite a warning from Hungary’s central bank that the incoming president’s proposed tariffs on the EU will hurt Hungary’s economy.

‘Only a few hours and even the sun will shine differently in Brussels. A new president in the U.S., a large faction of Patriots in Brussels, great enthusiasm’, Orbán said before Trump’s inauguration later on Monday, which he will not attend.

‘So, the great attack can start. Hereby I launch the second phase of the offensive that aims to occupy Brussels’, Orbán told a conference, upping his anti-Brussels rhetoric.”

RIGHTWINGERS IN EUROPE ! Upper row: Netherland’s Geert Wilders, Poland PiS’ Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Sweden’s Jimmie Åkesson, Spanish Vox’s Santiago Abascal. Lower row: German AfD’s Alice Weidel, Italy’s Mateo Salvini, Hungary’s Viktor Orbán, French RN’s Marine Le Pen.

While Orbán’s political ‘call to arms’ can be seen as a mere celebration of this year’s victories, and an attempt to keep the momentum going, his ‘Patriots for Europe’ Group of MPs in the EU Parliament is not to be scoffed at, anymore.

For example, Austria’s Freedom Party is about to take power and negotiate a coalition.

Growing parties in Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Greece, Latvia and Poland.

Marine Le Pen’s National Rally (RN) party in France is now a major player about to go into power.

Orban’s Hungarian Fidesz Party is in power since 2010.

Mateo Salvini’s Lega (League) is a member of the Italian governing coalition.

Geert Wilders PVV in the Netherlands, leading the governing coalition.

The Chega (Enough) party in Portugal and Vox in Spain – incidentally both parties that were present in Donald J. Trump’s inauguration.

“Orban’s Fidesz party and other right-wing parties founded the Patriots party group in the European Parliament last year. The group, led by France’s National Rally, has become the third largest in the parliament with 86 members.”

Orbán: ‘At the European election we came close to a real chance of a new right-wing majority that can replace the Brussels elite’.

European liberal establishment tries to terrorize Orbán that Trump’s tariff will destroy Hungarian car industry and the economy in general.

The EU lives in a crisis because it did not ensure the prosperity of its citizens, did nothing to stop illegal migration and didn’t even ensure its security.

“’We in Hungary are the opposition to the system in Brussels. Brussels is occupied by a left-liberal oligarchy’, Orban said. ‘At the European election we came close to a real chance of a new right-wing majority that can replace the Brussels elite’.”

Watch: Orban – ‘The executive orders signed by President Donald Trump will transform not only the US, but the entire world’.
