Neil Cavuto is leaving Fox News and will host his final show on the network on Thursday afternoon.
Cavuto's contract concludes at the end of this month and is not being renewed.
According to a report from Mediaite, the host will bid farewell to his viewers at the end of Thursday's episode of Your World.
The report explains:
The report states that Cavuto's leaving the network has nothing to do with his opposition to Trump, but he did not provide details of the reasoning behind his departure.
Until a new lineup is announced next year, Cavuto will be replaced by a rotating cast of anchors.
Fox News told Mediaite:
"Neil Cavuto's illustrious career has been a master class in journalism, and we're extremely proud of his incredible 28-year run with FOX News Media. His programs have defined business news and set the standard for the entire industry. We wish him a heartfelt farewell and all the best on his next chapter."
