Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was back in Washington on Tuesday to shake down lawmakers for $61 billion more to fund his ongoing war against Russia which, despite receiving more than $75 billion worth of American aid already, is going so poorly that Zelensky says he's preparing to send old men to the frontlines, much like a desperate Adolf Hitler did in 1945, as Germany fell to the Allies.

Actor-turned-President Volodymyr Zelensky once again donned his costume-style Ukrainian military sweatshirt in DC today as he rushed into the United States to save a $61 billion aid package for Ukraine that conservative House Republicans have expressed staunch opposition to. The prospective aid package, as some lawmakers have pointed out, is being pushed by Joe Biden and the uni-party even though America's southern border remains wide open, and also comes as the US steps up its funding of Israel's war effort against Hamas.

In video footage that's gone viral on social media, Zelensky was given a heroes' welcome as he arrived at the White House, where a military color guard lined the driveway.

In additional video footage, a screenshot of which has quickly gone viral on social media, Zelensky is seen walking through the US Capitol, appearing chummy with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY).

Both McConnell and Schumer have cheered further American involvement in the Ukraine-Russia conflict and have been more than willing to send American tax dollars and vital military equipment to Zelensky.

On the House side of the Capitol, after GOP Speaker Mike Johnson met with Zelensky, Johnson, who has recently expressed a desire to continue funding Ukraine, indicated to the press that he's prepared to hold up the Ukraine funding, not because he's opposed to the continued US backing of Ukraine's unsuccessful war that has the potential to turn into World War 3, but because the White House hasn't presented Congress with a clear "strategy to allow Ukraine to win."
